Hello! My name is Leilany, and as my name is related to the tropics, so is my life. Right now I’m an 18 year old student of communications at the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao. Right now I’m studying for a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Audio and Video. But I’m looking forward for getting transferred to the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras, where I can study journalism. My goal is being a newswoman for televised news or radial news, but what really calls my attention is the newspapers and redaction of the news. I am a fan of arts, dogs, and baseball. At my school days I used to help my classmates in their studies, by explaining them the material, which I think that is my ikigai and makes me question my selected career. Also I'm really interested in astronomy and human studies.

Since English is the second language most used in the world, is very important for me learning how to use it correctly for my future career. In this English class I'm looking forward to improve my skills at talking and writing in English. Specially knowing how to use correctly the verbs in this language.
